Full Job Description

This role is to support the effective running of Penicuik Town Hall (Cowan Institute). The 16 hours will be worked to meet the needs of the building and user groups/lets. Overtime may be available. For more information please email cll@midlothian.gov.uk. Training on procedures and skills will be provided.

All Jobholders are required to be numerate, effective communicators and be experienced in dealing with the public.
Previous caretaking/cleaning experience is desirable., This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children and adults. Successful candidates will require PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children and Adults. You will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment with Midlothian Council, the cost of which will be met by you.
