Full Job Description

An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a Cleaning assistant in support of Bridge of Allan Nursery.

The successful candidate will deliver a cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the Nursery community on a 10 hours per week 52 weeks per year permanent contract.

Hours of work will be 6pm - 8pm daily Mon - Fri, paid at Stirling Council Grade 1.

Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Be able to clean surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone.

Applicants will also require a basic working IT knowledge and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.

  • 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service)
