This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to work in the Council Building in 2 High Street. Perth, within Business Services supporting Services for Children, Young People & Justice.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Business Assistant with excellent customer service skills who is keen to embrace the variety of work that happens within this small team.

The type of core skills we are looking from you are, for example:

• Knowledge and experience of working with MS Office 365
• Excellent typing/word processing skills (including formatting reports which can contain detailed information relating to young people and their family circumstance)
• Working on databases i.e. updating social work records on the social care system
• Placing orders through the Council’s PECOS system and process invoices for payment
• Assisting in events management
• Assisting in managing equipment

For purposes of connection and collaboration with colleagues and with the community we serve, our full-time employees work on site for a minimum of 2 days per week with the arrangements for part time employees being agreed on a basis which will ensure that they benefit to an equivalent degree.
