Full Job Description

You will work 32.5 hours per week on a term time basis.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

To work as part of a team to provide an efficient, professional and comprehensive clerical and administrative support service for Grangemouth High School.

O-grade/Standard-grade or equivalent in English, Mathematics and Secretarial are a minimum requirement, with a further qualification in Secretarial, IT or Business Studies desirable, though not essential.

In addition relevant and up-to-date experience of working in a busy modern office environment where IT is extensively used is required - in particular well-developed keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Access. Previous experience of working in a school office environment is desirable. Experience of finance, minute taking and working with other computer programmes, including those used within Falkirk Council Children's Services, would be advantageous.

Good communication and organisational skills would also be expected along with an understanding of the need for confidentiality.
