25 hours per week (Mon – Fri, 1pm until 6pm)

 

 

We are looking for a well organised individual to ensure an effective clerical support service is provided to our stakeholders and customers of Shortroods Out of School Care and Ferguslie After School Care. The staff team in these services create a nurturing environment, where children feel safe, have a voice, and experience a variety of indoor and outdoor play experiences. The main base will be in Glencoats PS, but the postholder will be expected to work from the other base located at Mossvale/St James PS during the school holiday periods, and as required.

 

Duties for the post include; customer service, processing manual and computerised financial, pupil and personnel information; producing and analysing reports; document production, including typing letters and reports; procurement (processing purchase orders and credit card transactions); providing basic IT assistance.

 

It is essential that you have experience of working in a clerical role within an office environment. It is also essential that you have knowledge of common IT systems including databases and Microsoft Office and have effective customer service, organisational and time management skills. It is preferable that you have knowledge of SEEMIS, PECOS and Microsoft Outlook.

 

An SVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent) or Customer Service Professional Award is desirable. Experience of working with different agencies and use of purchasing systems is also desirable.

 

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 12 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
