Full Job Description

Eden Scott's client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Onboarding Implementation Analyst to join their financial services team in Edinburgh on a 50-week temporary contract. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of onboarding processes, compliance requirements, and operational excellence within financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage new client onboarding processes and implementation of changes for existing clients.
  • Oversee case management, tracking change activity for each client to ensure smooth execution.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders and external third parties, including custodians and transfer agents, to establish the right legal and operational frameworks supporting client transitions.
  • Build expertise in reporting change and guideline amendments, continuously refining processes through experience.
  • Assess and prioritise workloads effectively, considering volume, competing priorities, and required resources, time, and focus for each activity-understanding that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements, mitigating risk while maintaining high-quality client service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding and change processes, identifying areas for improvement.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in client onboarding, financial services operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, and operational risk.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with third-party providers (custodians, transfer agents) to facilitate operational and legal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across different teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Project manage new client onboarding processes and implementation of changes for existing clients.
