Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for teaching to join the Clinical Education Team within NHS Golden Jubilee. The post holder will be promoting an environment that encourages learning, teaching and the development of all staff, including those undergoing training.

The post holder will split their time between working clinically alongside nursing staff to develop their knowledge and skills, office work to prepare appropriate teaching materials, teaching in formal classroom setting to support wider clinical education activity and attendance at meetings.

You will be a Registered Nurse educated to degree level in nursing or healthcare (or equivalent). You will have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have evidence of extensive career progression in Orthopaedic and / or General Surgery, have active Practice Assessor status and evidence of informal local teaching within clinical environment.
