Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Physiotherapist Rehabilitation at Biggart Hospital.
What you will do:
This role will be as clinical lead for the inpatient team at Biggart Hospital and encompasses skilled level physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment within inpatient rehabilitation. With support, you will also administer, develop and lead physiotherapy services as appropriate within the rehabilitation inpatient team and outreach visits.
Previous experience of working within a range of services and conditions will be desirable. This may include Care of the Elderly, Frailty, Falls, Orthopaedics, Vascular, Stroke and Surgical. As well as high level clinical skills the ideal candidate will also bring clinical improvement skills, and experience of education and development of others.
You will work within a supportive and proactive multidisciplinary team and contribute to discharge planning and the transition of patients from hospital to home. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and within a team. You will sustain good links with the wider physiotherapy and MDT rehabilitation team.

We offer an active in-service and appraisal programme and peer support by therapists with widespread clinical skills.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
- You must have HCPC registration and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is highly desirable.
- Must have substantial and varied clinical experience with significant experience of working within a relevant speciality at an advanced level
- Requires to have post graduate training in relevant speciality, or experience equivalent to a Masters Level. This would include inpatient and outpatient experience, and would also include membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Special Interest Groups

Hours:
Up to 37 per week - par time/job share will be considered.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
UK driving licence/Car ownership, or evidence of working towards this, is essential to this role.
