Full Job Description

Royal London's Application Services team are currently recruiting for a Cloud Engineer to join them! As a Cloud Engineer you will support and deliver cloud-based solutions! You will provide extensive business and deep technical expertise to assist teams with the design, development and implementation of efficient solutions that meet business and customer requirements.,

  • Resolve complex technical problems, investigating the root cause of problems and recommend solutions.
  • Deliver complex technical solutions which support the business strategy.
  • Delivery and continuous improvement of a foundational automation platform.
  • Establish secure and sound engineering practices for the team to deliver superior quality output.
  • Support with the development and review of standards, best practices, documentation, and methods of working with automation technologies leveraged by the organisation.
  • Ensure automation platforms are managed to the satisfaction of the business, reporting on performance metrics, and looking for opportunities for continuous improvement.

    Proven hands-on experience with automation platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Deep technical knowledge of automation platforms such as Azure, PowerShell, or Microsoft Orchestrator.
  • Experience of designing, building and operating automation services within a medium to large enterprise.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
