This is an excellent opportunity for a Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer to join our growing Cloud team. The team is currently tasked with implementing testing across Aviva. So, you will be involved from the very beginning, to lay the groundwork of how the organisation do testing across the company using new technology, put new frameworks and testing models in place to deliver the correct criteria. The role is based in Perth and you will be required to be in the Perth office 50% of the time. A bit about the job: Acting as a Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer at the heart of the technical development of our Platform, you will analyse and identify areas of improvements to be implemented in line with our technology strategy. You will work to identify, define and implement testing improvements across our Cloud Platform, whilst promoting our Engineering Practice, proposing innovative solutions or alternative approaches to our test strategy.

  • Experience with either AWS or Azure technologies and Terraform (consider Google cloud) and running a platform within a large organisation (desirable)
  • Confident with communicating with non-technical audience and liaising with stakeholders
  • Infrastructure cloud testing experience, along with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • First-class engineering discipline with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
  • Knowledge of Application Support and Development processes

  • Salary between £45,000 - £52,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
