Full Job Description

As a CNC Machinist in Kintore, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality, precision-machined components, contributing to the success of our well-established team. Operating advanced CNC machines, you'll focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while enhancing your technical skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is a shift-based role, including both day and night shifts on a rotating schedule.,

  • Operate CNC machines safely and competently, ensuring compliance with HSE and housekeeping standards.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and manufacture components within precise tolerances.
  • Identify and implement efficient tooling/programming solutions without compromising quality or safety.
  • Plan and manage workloads in alignment with weekly production schedules, addressing any potential delays.
  • Perform accurate time recording (WIP) and report discrepancies or technical issues promptly.
  • Participate in quality-related investigations, providing insights to address root causes and improve processes.
  • Promote adherence to company policies, objectives, and 5S principles, fostering a clean and organized workspace.
  • Contribute to toolbox talks and actively engage in discussions about potential issues and improvements.
  • Assist with process enhancements to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce labor costs.
  • Maintain all KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and engagement while identifying improvement areas.

    Experience operating Doosan CNC machines with ISO programming.
  • Proven background as a CNC Machinist.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Desirable:
  • Prior experience in a similar manufacturing environment.

    Rotating Shifts (4-week rotation)
  • Day Shift:
  • + Monday to Thursday: 7am to 3:30pm + Friday: 7am to 2:30pm (with early finish option).
  • Night Shift:
