Full Job Description
In this catering post working between the Lochside Café, Lochore Meadows Country Park, or Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and it's surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP procedures - completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include serving of meals, general kitchen and dining area duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen and it's surround.
We currently have a vacancy to join our Commercial Catering Team, in our very busy, 7 days a week operation.
Training on all in house systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post if not already held.
Catering experience or a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.

This position is 30 hours per week on a permanent 52 week contract but will vary according to site - Hours and rotas will be discussed at interview but will involve working at both sites.
The working day is normally between 8:00am to 5:00pm as required Monday to Sunday, however The Glen Pavilion does cater for functions where additional hours may be available.
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,890.91 to £27,087.17 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
£13.26 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
