Commercial Finance Business Partner

Rutherford Cross is pleased to be exclusively partnered with a PE-backed FMCG business in Lanarkshire to appoint the newly created role of Commercial Finance Business Partner.

Reporting into a well-tenured Commercial Finance Manager, this represents a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified (Qual/PQ/QBE) commercially focused accountant to join a growing business at an important point in its growth trajectory.

We are ideally seeking to engage with commercially focused accountants, who have a robust track record of dealing with non-financial stakeholders. We are happy to consider qualified/part-qualified/QBE, provided the experience is relevant. Key Responsibilities:

• Key Business Partner for the commercial teams, providing analysis to drive actions and lead profit growth
• Analysis of financial process and reporting
• P+L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation
• Provide external reporting to customers and suppliers
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting, including Board Pack supporting documentation
• Customer rebate calculation and reconciliations
• Ad hoc reporting

Essential Experience/Knowledge:

• Fast-paced data analysis
• Experience within food retailing or manufacturing is preferable but not essential
• Accounting background with ACCA or similar qualification
