Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom's EMEA internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite and hybrid work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern to join us in our affiliate in Edinburgh. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. - Department Name: Commercial Forecasting & Analytics
- Business Function: Commercial Operations
- Team Highlights:
- Play a role in supporting data-driven decision-making within Dexcom's Commercial Operations team.
- Gain hands-on experience in market trends analysis, reporting tools, and predictive modelling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to drive business strategies. Where you come in:
- You will support the development of forecasting models to improve sales and market trend analysis.
- You will analyze commercial data and provide insights to optimize decision-making.
- You will assist in report automation and dashboard creation using analytical tools.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine forecasting methodologies.
- You will research and track industry trends, supporting strategic planning initiatives.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making. - You are detail-oriented, with experience in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- You bring excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Your proficiency in forecasting techniques, business intelligence tools, or statistical software (e.g., Python, R) is a plus., Must be a currently enrolled student at a university (Year 2-4).
- Business, Finance, or Data Analytics studies background preferred.
- Technology savvy and comfortable working with financial and analytics tools.

Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
