Commercial Management Accountant

Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are currently recruiting for our client, a fast-paced manufacturing organisation based in West Lothian.

This role is based on Site Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities Include

• Prepare accurate and effective management accounts including rolling forecasting
• Identifying areas of improvement and weaknesses - suggesting modifications as appropriate
• Work closely with the business to ensure non financial staff understand the financial data, provide analysis and support in order for Managers, Leadership and Stakeholders to be able to make commercial business decisions to increase site performance
• Provide cost analysis and accounting to support all development activity, highlighting potential risks or opportunities. Maintain costing master data.
• Liaising with Development, Commercial and Operations to accurately capture relevant
• Produce ad-hoc financial information, analysis and reports for all areas of the business
• Actively work cross-functionally within the business to provide financial support and align business processes

Background Required

• Previous experience of working as a Management Accountant
• Experience of working in manufacturing is essential
• Exceptional communication skills, able to work closely with Managers, Leadership and Stakeholders in order to provide commercial financial support and recommendations
• Qualified, part qualified and QBE will be considered
• Advance MS Excel skills and strong ERP/financial software skills
