Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Management Surveyor and looking to get out of the large consultancy world to join a modern, forward thinking firm?

Peace Recruitment new client, a rapidly expanding property management company with over 750,000 sq. ft. of property under management across the West of Scotland and Aberdeen are seeking a skilled and experienced Property Manager to join their dynamic team.

As Property Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of property management and service charge operations for a range of commercial properties. Your expertise in service charge management will contribute to the overall success of their property management services and enhance client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Service Charge Administration: Manage the entire lifecycle of service charge processes, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

· Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop, monitor, and revise annual service charge budgets, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with property requirements and financial goals.

· Client Communication

· Supplier and Contractor Management: Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to negotiate service agreements, ensure timely service delivery, and monitor performance to maintain service quality.

· Compliance and Legal Matters

· Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses related to service charge income and expenses for presentation to clients and internal teams.

· Database Management

· Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other property management teams, contributing your expertise to enhance the overall property management service offering.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, system upgrades, and service optimizations to elevate the quality of service charge management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· MRICS or working towards MRICS preferred.

· Education: A bachelor's degree in real estate, property management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

· Strong Communication Skills

· Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Attention to Detail

· Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support senior property manager effectively.

Salary up to £50,000
