We are currently looking for an experienced mechanical tradesperson to deliver training/assessment across our range of mechanical and health and safety courses. Ideally the candidate will have experience working in hazardous areas, working knowledge of health and safety regulations and be willing to undertake any relevant CPD training. Delivering to commercial candidates you will find motivated and like-minded candidates keen to build their skillset through participating in a range of courses.

The Role

Based at our new state of the art Falkirk Campus with excellent motorway and public transport links, you will be joining the department at time of extensive growth and development as we aim to become the first choice for industry training in Scotland, delivering highly trained personnel across a range of sectors. Courses would include but not limited to CompEx Ex11 Mechanical, Flange Integrity, Manual Handling, Mechanical Maintenance, IOSH Health And Safety, Working At Height, Abrasive Wheels, Asbestos Awareness, COSHH Awareness.

You will join a passionate, knowledgeable and highly driven team of trainers and be responsible for the preparation and delivery of commercial training programmes across a range of provision.

Requirements

Requirement for a technical trade qualification within Mechanical Engineering and evidence of industrial experience is essential. (hazardous area experience would be advantageous).

Training experience, assessor qualification or equivalent and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, however not essential as full training will be provided.

Having a professional approach, you will be an effective influencer and motivator who leads by example and is willing to undertake all necessary training to become an approved trainer.
