Full Job Description

This is a 35 hour per week permanent post. The post is based in the Municipal Buildings, Dumbarton with a requirement to work from Clydebank Town Hall when required and is part of the Committee Services team within the Democratic Services section.

The post-holder will be responsible for the provision of a full Committee Service to a number of Committees and Boards and occasionally to full Council if required. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills and proven organisational ability. You must be able to organise your own workload and be confident in dealing with Elected Members and Senior Officers of the Council as well as being proactive with a flexible approach to workload and occasional evening work when required. Experience of hosting virtual meetings via Zoom and MS Teams is essential. Previous experience of committee administration duties within a local government environment would be advantageous.
