Full Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced communications professional with strong skills in digital communications to support the delivery of multichannel communications plans and produce effective and engaging content around Zero Waste Scotland’s priorities and activities. The successful candidate will support digital projects and content strategies for a range of channels, including research and opportunity analysis, through to delivery and analytics to deliver world-class content that reaches core and new audiences.


We want you if;

  • You're experienced in managing social media channels and comfortable with a wide range of digital channels and Content Management Systems.
  • You can show examples of digital innovation, have coordinated digital campaigns and be competent in briefing creatives, such as designers, video editors and copywriters. Experience of working with a digital agency would be advantageous.
  • You are skilled with creative and digital tools such as Photoshop, Premier Pro, Microsoft Dynamics, Social Media Management tools. 

What you'll be doing;

You'll be part of a busy digital team, working across web, social, email, paid ads, SEO and other channels. The role involves liaising with colleagues across the organisation and working closely with colleagues in PR and Design, establishing digital requirements, providing creative solutions, and managing the digital channels to ensure work is delivered to a high standard and to the agreed timescale.

The office is located next to the railway station and is conveniently accessed from across central Scotland.
