A global life sciences business is seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to join their established Communications team.  This international role is a great position for someone with experience in internal and external communications.

You will be responsible for driving and delivering a new global internal communications strategy and programme with the support of the Head of Communications.  Auditing and reviewing the existing internal communications plan and making recommendations to the channels, forms, and frequency of communication with employee engagement at the forefront of your mind.

In addition, you’ll help to deliver wider communication tasks including PR, crisis communications, and investor communications.

In this role, you’ll be tasked with:

• Supporting the development of the internal communications strategy to engage employees
• Managing and updating the company intranet with various forms of content
• Devising internal content plans and writing external press releases
• Maintaining contacts with relevant press parties and publications
• Working with internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this role, you’ll have:

• Previous internal and external communications experience
• Ideally worked in a business relating to life sciences, healthcare or medical industries (desirable)
• Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
• String writing skills with the ability to simplify technical subject matters
• Experience maintaining internal communication channels
