Hours of Work: 14 hours / week. 

EVH Grade: 4 (Points PA9 – PA12) £24,764 - £28,004

40 days leave (inclusive of statutory leave) pro rata

Defined Contribution Pension Scheme

Community Initiatives Assistant

This role offers an excellent opportunity for innovative and creative working, built around community strengths and partnership working. Our community work focuses on supporting our tenants and communities with health, well-being, and social needs, through the organisation, development, and delivery of a range of community programmes and initiatives. The team is built on working with and developing volunteers to enable groups and projects to be shaped and facilitated by local people.


The successful applicant will be motivated, solution focussed and have strong organisational, team working and interpersonal skills.


This position offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an innovative team, be creative and use and develop community work skills and experience.


In today’s environment, the ability to work in a changing environment with competing pressures is necessary, and the successful candidates will be team players with a problem solving attitude and the desire to learn new things while ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
