Full Job Description

Some of our vacancies are for internal candidates only. If you are a member of staff, please ensure you update your Jobtrain profile to reflect that you are employed by NHS Tayside

As the successful applicant, you will have experience of working with people with a wide range of mental health needs, have specialist clinical knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing and will be an excellent example to your colleagues in the delivery of holistic person centred care.

There will be a requirement to provide a supervisory role to junior members of staff within the nursing team, and to fulfil the Perth & Kinross Duty Worker role. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team you will demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills as a core component of your role.

The individual we are looking to recruit will be educated to Degree level or will be able to evidence comparable experience. Clinically, you will work in partnership with people to provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, facilitating, enabling and supporting them within their communities. This will support the team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred service for people with severe and/or enduring mental health problems.

If you have these skills, display strengths based and social inclusive approaches to working, can lead and manage change and are committed to improving the lives of people with mental health problems then we would like to hear from you.

Internal Applicants - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN3 or RNMH of the UK NMC Register
