Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Community Staff Nurse based at Girvan

What you will do:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered general nurse with current NMC registration to join our community nursing team. 

You will be based within a District Nursing team at Girvan Community Hospital although a requirement of the post holder will be a willingness to travel across Maybole/Girvan and wider South Ayrshire locality when required to meet the needs of the service. You will work in close partnership with colleagues across South Ayrshire ensuring an integrated approach to the delivery of compassionate care. You will also be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of service.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Applicants should be motivated and self - driven with a commitment to developing and delivering a high standard of individualised care to patients within a community setting.  You will be an open, honest, approachable and responsible individual with proven ability to support excellent team working.  You will be expected to have a wide range of clinical knowledge and skills with evidence of continuous professional development.  Possessing these qualities will assist in driving high performance ensuring the provision of the best experience of care possible.
