Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this position is 5 days including dayshift and backshift over 7 days a week.  

East Dunbartonshire HSCP District Nursing service are recruiting a community staff nurse to join our dynamic and forward thinking team.  We are committed to ensuring our patients receive high quality person centred care within a community setting and require a like-minded nurse to join our team. 

Successful candidates will support the District Nurse in providing skilled nursing interventions for patients on a caseload and will hold a 1st Level registration in adult nursing.  Previous experience in a community setting is not essential.
