Companion / Befriender (Ref: SDS / HAD / 317957)

Do you have a caring attitude, a good sense of humour, and a passion for supporting others? We're looking for someone just like you to join us as a Companion/Befriender!

You'll be supporting a lovely 17-year-old young lady who's keen to get out and enjoy life. She loves music, shopping, walking, and football and is excited to build her independence while staying safe with a responsible and patient companion.

While she may be a little shy at first, you'll soon discover her bubbly personality as she opens up. She enjoys chatting about all the fun things a 17-year-old loves and appreciates someone who can help her experience new adventures while gaining confidence away from Mum and Dad.

Our ideal companion:

Is kind, reliable, and flexible.
Has experience in care (preferred but not essential).
Holds (or is willing to obtain) PVG membership.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life while building meaningful connections. Plus, there's an opportunity to support her sister, too, for 3.75 hours per week if you'd like to be considered for both roles.
