Full Job Description
As a Configuration Management Administrator Role within Thales, you will:
- Facilitate effective change management processes within your projects, liaising with all stakeholders to ensure comprehensive assessments in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the programme Configuration Manager to support all CM activities.
- Be responsible for the planning and preparation of Configuration Control Boards, and progressing agreed outcomes.
- Verify the integrity, validity and maintenance of data, including traceability and history the during entire life cycle of the programme.
- Advise programmes on configuration management processes.
- Be a configuration management tool (PLM) expert and provide support to the project/product team.
- Support with ad-hoc programme or Configuration Management tasks.
- Apply the decisions of the Configuration Manager into the tool as required.
You graduated with a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or a Higher National Diploma (HND). - You have experience and understand configuration management processes, tools and stakeholders' needs.
- You work closely with your Configuration Manager to ensure the programme is enabled to succeed.
- You foster continuous improvement and encourage a culture of feedback.
- You support the team with your knowledge of configuration management tools & practices.
- You have the ability to prioritise, manage customer expectations and meet deadlines.
- You understand the importance of data integrity and the rigor of processes.
- An discerning communicator and a team player: you are willing to help and establish strong relationships with the rest of the team, and robustly promote the aligned UK Unifi ways of working.
- You are professional, methodical and meticulous, with a keen eye for details and advanced organisational skills.
- You are proactive and actively engage with colleagues and programme team members in order to fulfil your role and project demands.
