HKA has an exciting opportunity for a construction professional with a passion for construction claims and dispute resolution, you may have worked as a project planner or engineer and are looking to move into specialising in delay analysis. You will act as an assistant on small/medium projects for our Delay experts involved in international arbitration and litigation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Drafting expert reports and analysis for the final reports


• Reviewing documents on varied project types in a broad range of industries, for example infrastructure, oil & gas and residential


• Performing detailed delay forensic analysis or drafting of claims


• Supporting the project team and Expert


• Drafting notes and external communications to assist with the overall project scope and individual work streams


• Participating in client meetings


• Regularly attending marketing events - client events, seminars and lectures to build relationships in the field
  
  You will have a degree in Construction or a related field, a relevant MSc in engineering and/or Construction Law would be an advantage


• You have 3+ years of construction related industry experience - preferably in project management, planning or engineering


• You have experience of drafting sections of expert reports


• You have experience with planning software, including Primavera P6 and MS Project


• You have excellent analytical skills, an attention to detail and exceptional report writing skills
