Full Job Description

This post is for a Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry. The clinical commitment is to provide outpatient consultant input from the service to the Airdrie and Wishaw localities of North Lanarkshire, supported by Speciality Doctor and/or Clinical Fellow staff in this catchment area.

The job is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis with breakdown being 8 Direct Clinical Care and 2 Supporting Professional Activity, subject to confirmation and approval of the final Job Plan. Applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full-time.

We have a consultant vacancy in our Learning Disability Psychiatry team, covering the Airdrie and Wishaw localities of Lanarkshire, and based at Kirklands Hospital in Bothwell, Lanarkshire. The team is a well-established, supportive and multidisciplinary team group who manage people during their recovery within local hospital sites and in the community.
