Applications are invited from motivated and suitably qualified Paediatric Surgeons who wish to join our team at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.

We are primarily seeking to appoint a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon with an elective Interest in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery. The candidate will be expected to undertake a full range of Upper GI and HPB practice including the well-established gastrostomy and complex nutrition services. We are looking for a talented candidate who will be able support the departments many emergency responsibilities. Candidates should have a demonstrable interest in Upper GI surgery and evidence of effective multi-disciplinary working a cornerstone of our complex nutrition service.

The successful candidate must have full GMC Registration and a licence to practise and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR) or be within 6 months of CCT from the date of interview.  Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
