Full Job Description

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is the largest of Scotland’s Seven Regional Transport Partnerships.  As well as running the iconic Glasgow Subway, SPT delivers an extensive range of public transport services including bus stations and subsidised bus services, manages large transport infrastructure projects and is responsible for delivery of a long-term multi-modal transport strategy for the West of Scotland. 

About the role

We have a great opportunity to join the Contact Centre Team as we continue to focus on the development our own people to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of our services to our customers. The role will involve providing telephone and administrative support regarding enquiries into the Contact Centre. The Contact Centre Agent will report to the Contact Centre Team Leaders.

About you 

You will have experience working in a Contact Centre or similar and have experience dealing with the public within the service sector. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and work collaboratively with their peer group. They will also have good organisational, verbal and written skills and be a motivated, reliable and flexible individual.

Part time hours will be 21 hours per week working between Monday to Friday. The nature of this role may require you to work outwith normal office hours on occasion to support the operational requirements.

The role is fixed term until the end of the 2024 calendar year.

You will be based at Buchanan Bus Station, Killermont Street, Glasgow.
