Full Job Description

A prominent general building contractor in Central Scotland is looking to appoint a new Contracts Manager to play a key role in their continued growth and success.

 

The role offers the chance to lead a varied portfolio of projects across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare and residential. You will be supported by a well-established and highly committed team focused on delivering projects in a safe and timely manner. Projects you will oversee could range from £3m to £30m. This is not a replacement role, but a new role to support the existing team given their strong pipeline of work.

 

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • High-level management of all contracts from site set-up through to completion.
  • Ensure site teams maintain focus on quality and programme.
  • Liaison with commercial department on cost forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensuring a positive safety culture is embraced by site teams.
  • Providing regular progress and performance reports to company directors.

 

To be considered for this role, you should have demonstrable experience at Contracts Manager level within a general building or housing environment and be contractually and commercially aware.
