Contracts Manager

Are you a Contracts Manager with experience in social housing refurbishment contracts?

This contractor is looking to further strengthen their senior management team in order to deliver a range of retrofit contracts upcoming in 2025. Due to a successful period of expansion this developer is currently looking to add another Contracts Manager to their team to assist with overseeing a range of affordable housing projects across the Central Belt.

Reporting to a Construction Director, duties of the role will include:

• Producing build programmes in line with budget forecasts and business plan.
• Programming material call offs for live sites.
• Responsible for overseeing any client issues and ensuring the best outcomes at all times.
• Chair of all site activity related meetings, liaising with a variety of subcontractors and specialists.
• Attend weekly sales build meetings and liaise with local authorities and utilities to obtain road/sewer adoptions and road bond rebates.
• Meet with Health and Safety Inspector to discuss any issues raised following site visits.
• Oversee the performance and development of site management staff across a number of developments.

We are looking for a real leader for this role with excellent interpersonal skills, someone who thrives engaging with their site teams and getting the best from them. You should come from a construction leadership role and be willing to travel across the central belt as this role will involve regular travel to site.
