We are working with a sub-contractor who is looking for Contracts Manager for projects in and around the East of Scotland.

We are looking for someone who is probably the level of a section engineer/project engineer at a main contractor who is looking for a new challenge. The candidate needs to be energetic and ambitious – the subcontractor world and working for a smaller family business is more demanding on many levels. They also need an engineering background.

The candidate would be managing up to 40 contracts a month, varying in size from £1000 - £500,000. There are three Contracts Supervisors who are on the ground managing about 10 squads who report directly to the Contract Manager. The Contracts Manager would have overall responsibility for procurement, programming, health and safety and quality management. They would also work closely with the commercial team providing information on potential variations to contract and new opportunities.

Salary is open to negotiation, and start date will be negotiable also.
