Full Job Description

Our Distribution Control Centre (DCC) is responsible for the management and control of SSEN's High Voltage Distribution Network, which stretches from the central belt of Scotland to Shetland.

We are looking for a Distribution Control Engineer to join our DCC team based in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to train to become a Control Engineer operating on the Distribution Network up to and including 33kV.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Planning and execution of High Voltage switching for routine work, fault response and real time network management.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.

- Undertake live operational work duties.

- Maintain network security.

- Complete accurate fault reporting.

System Control Authorisation experience or significant SAP field experience.

- A sound understanding of the Distribution Codes and Procedures.

- Possess excellent organisational and communication skills.

- Have a HNC level qualification in Engineering or significant technical experience in the industry.
