Full Job Description
As a Control of Contractors Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and successful management of all sub-contractor works.
This includes full ownership and implementation of the client's work authorisation and permit to work process, ensuring that all activities are completed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and book in contractors onsite
Escort sub-contractors, ensuring security protocols are followed
Book subcontractors and check required paperwork
Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Deliver subcontractor inductions
Issue Work Authorisations and Permits to Work
Support engineering team with compliance tasks, logbooks, and systems
Conduct ad-hoc inspections
Liaise with sub-contractors and stakeholders for timely permit and authorisation processes
Plan and prioritise works for operational efficiency
Ensure proactive collection and thorough review of sub-contractor H&S documentation
Previous experience in a similar role with M&E knowledge and statutory requirements
IOSH Managing Safely and ideally NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or working towards)
Proven ability to manage sub-contractor groups safely and effectively
Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment
Confident and clear communicator
Technical knowledge required, with background in Facilities or Technical field
