Based at Kinloch Care Centre, Carnoustie.

This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.

In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

Kinloch Care Centre is a residential home for older adults.

Working 20 hours per week on a shift-based system, including weekends, your duties will include preparing and cooking food and other general kitchen and dining room duties such as washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables and cleaning the kitchen, its surrounds and equipment.

You will organise the serving of food and beverages and maintain the highest level of hygiene according to Health and Safety regulations in the kitchen, dining and lounge areas.

You will also assist with the ordering process. You must have a certificate in Elementary Food Hygiene (or equivalent) and be willing to undertake training. Ideally, you will have an SVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent.
