Role Overview:
We are seeking a Corporate & Commercial Associate/Senior Associate to join our Energy and Infrastructure team, specialising in Oil and Gas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within the energy sector, including oil, gas, renewables, and infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the partners in the Oil & Gas section by working on a mix of upstream operator and service sector assignments.
  • Advise operators on various operational contracts, field development agreements, and decommissioning security agreements.
  • Participate in due diligence for M&A transactions, collaborating with the wider energy team.
  • Provide guidance on contractual issues related to specialist service sector contracts, including drilling and offshore construction.
  • Navigate regulatory matters and establish strong relationships with clients and internal departments.
  • Engage in business development efforts and prepare industry briefing notes.
  • Stay informed about legal and industry developments to enhance client service and team performance.
