We are a growing Corporate Finance Advisory team with a strong presence in Scottish mid-market advisory market. Providing advice to a wide range of clients, including large and mid-sized companies, shareholders, management teams and private equity on a variety of transactions including, selling and buying businesses, through to raising debt and equity capital for growth.

We operate in a highly dynamic and fast-moving environment, managing multiple live transactions but also developing relationships with new business opportunities for both us and the broader firm.

We are seeking self-motivated candidates with a view to supporting their career development within this exciting service line embedded in a strong team culture.

A look into the role

As an Assistant Manager within our Corporate Finance Advisory team you will:

  • Work on the full client project lifecycle, from pitch to completion, and you will be a key member of this team.

  • Be a part of a dynamic Corporate Finance team, and work with a variety of clients across a range of industries, helping our clients execute market-leading transactions.

  • We will empower you to act as a trusted business advisor to our clients. We need you to always strive to build and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and clients

  • Have the opportunity to take on wider department responsibilities, such as business development, recruitment or people management.

  • You will have opportunities to develop yourself and others, driving your own development with the support of your people manager.

    Joining us as an Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you'll need is a Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA (or CIPFA or CFA qualified) and experience gained within a professional services environment or relevant advisory firm. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way:
  • Proven experience of leading client engagements and strong relationship management skills

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
