Credit Control Team Leader

Meraki Talent are supporting the appointment of a permanent Credit Control Team Leader based in Edinburgh with a salary of up to £40,000 with a competitive benefits package.

The Role

This role is a key position with the finance function which is pivotal to protecting cashflow to allow for operational effectiveness and further growth & expansion. The role of Credit Control Team Leader key components include:

• Liaising with C-Suite, Leadership and Departmental Heads
• Supervising the team with input into hiring, training, development & performance management
• Oversight of a portfolio of accounts
• Creating relationships with external teams, allowing an effective collection of debt
• Dealing with aged debt recovery & escalation
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

Candidate Profile

• 3 years+ practical credit control experience
• supervisory or team leader exposure
• Professional services sector experience
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders both internally & externally
• Strong communication skills
