Credit Controller

Murray Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller for a part-time contract opportunity covering Maternity Leave with our client who are a leading Support Services company.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will work as part of a team and be responsible for your own ledger and work alongside the Finance team to achieve results.

Responsibilities;

• Chasing of payments in a proactive and professional manner
• Maintaining aged debt reports
• Keeping accurate records of communication between you and the customer
• Ensuring invoice discrepancies are managed and resolved in a timely manner
• Prioritising and managing workload, ensuring prioritisation is given to potential future problems
• Communicating with customers by telephone and email on a range of issues such as payment dates
• discrepancies and the chasing up of late payments
• Sending out customer statements
• Credit checking and opening of new accounts

Experience;

• Previous experience working within similar position.
• Use of a financial system, such as ELO, and Navision would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience of team management, and working within a fast growing company is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills.

Package;

• Salary up to £23,400.00 (Pro-Rata)
• 22 Days Holiday plus bank holidays. (Pro-Rata)
• Hours Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00 (3 Full Days)
