Full Job Description
Three Bridges Recruitment have partnered with an Aberdeen-based global energy organisation that is looking for a skilled Credit Controller to join the team. In this key role for the business, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of credit control / collections and Accounts Receivable management. This is a permanent full-time role that will provide exposure to numerous business areas.

Job
The role of Credit Controller will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Actively manage credit to minimise risk
- Offer recommendations for reviewing customer credit limits and setting aside sales reserves/bad debt provisions
- Reach out to customers via phone, email, or other approved methods to ensure timely payments
- Generate account statements
- Work closely with team members to optimise the collection process in alignment with company goals
- Provide high-quality customer support for credit and collection matters
- Escalate recurring delinquent accounts as required by company policy
- Identify and address factors contributing to payment delays
- Assist with cases of customer insolvency
- Promote the use of technology to streamline and automate collections
- Coordinate with the Billing team on invoicing and revenue matters
- Handle additional responsibilities to support the Credit & Collections department
You
As a Credit Controller, you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following:
- Significant experience in collections, billing, or a relevant accounting role
- Strong skills in reporting, research, analysis, communication, and organisation
- Familiarity with contract terms and collection-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database tools, and ERP systems
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial capabilities (preferred)
- Experience with multicurrency transactions and understanding of country-specific financial regulations
- Ability to effectively navigate customer contracts and web portal
