Overall responsibility for offshore crewing activities on the fleet allocated. Direct liaison with Client on all crewing activities. Directly responsible for the supervision of an assigned team, ensuring that the company's vessels are manned with competent, qualified, and suitably experienced personnel.,

• Directly responsible for the management of the crewing function, ensuring vessels are adequately manned with competent seafarers and compliance with Company safety management system.
• Directly responsible for the day-to day management of an appointed team and allocation of resources, ensuring that the company's policies and standards are adhered to, including the administration, and tracking of annual leave and absence records.
• In conjunction with Line Manager, develop a manpower strategy, ensuring Company Key Performance Indicators are incorporated.
• Directly responsible for the management, implementation, and compliance of the manpower strategy.
• Ensure the fleet complies with the latest requirements of the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC).
• Directly responsible for ensuring the assigned fleet have adequate union cover in place.
• Management of the crewing system utilised for storing all required personnel records.
• Direct liaison with, client, operations and technical departments, and external client representatives, on manning issues relating to employees and activities in support of company's crewing operations.
• Management responsibility for vessel running costs, ensuring adequate process and procedures are in place to achieve agreed budgets.
• Liaison with the operations/technical departments and employer and where applicable Senior Management and/or Client regarding disciplinary issues of personnel aboard company managed vessels.
• Ensure adequate procedures are in place for adherence to any charterers crewing matrix.
• Directly responsible for managing the development of employees within the team, ensuring the development of all direct reports is managed and recorded.
• Input and preparation of crewing budgets.
• Disseminate Company values and behaviours, ensuring awareness within the team, demonstrate key behaviours we seek within NMMS.
• Conduct monthly manpower analysis, projections and prepare monthly and quarterly Marine HR KPI reports.
• Prepare, monitor and review monthly the annual manning and crew travel budget analysis/OPEX reports for the fleet in liaison with the business control.
• Support the preparation of quarterly budget reviews for specific customers.
• Travel to Group Company offices as necessary for auditing etc
• Other tasks and ad hoc project work as deemed necessary and relevant by the Company
  
  University Degree level of Education, preferably in HR or General Business
• Demonstrate experience of managing and leading diverse Crewing Personnel
