Full Job Description

Job Purpose

Working as a member of a reliable and effective team responsible for providing tenants with a customer contact service, processing incoming calls and emails accurately and efficiently using supporting IT systems, resolving enquiries, service requests and dealing with any complaints in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

Responsibilities

These are permanent full time post's based at The Risk Management Centre, London Road HQ, Kilmarnock.

Hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked; Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm

The salary for this post is - £25,953 to £27,173
