Full Job Description
The postholder takes the lead in the delivery of data analysis and business intelligence needs for the charity supporting the data strategy as a part of the data team.
They lead on reporting, analysis and the identification of improvements in data standards. They translate business requirements into data analysis and dashboard visualisations through the expert use of reporting and analytics technologies.
They are responsible for the interrogation of St John Ambulance data, ensuring the production and delivery of reports meet a high standard. They provide expert analysis and insight, working alongside stakeholders of all levels to drive decision making, with data., Collaborate with users, key stakeholders and project teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Using a range of analytical techniques to analyse a business data, delivering insights through a range of outputs, including Power BI dashboards.
Using languages such as SQL and Python to extract and manipulate large data sets
Combining data and analysis into impactful, actionable reports for internal and external stakeholders

You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C / 4) including Maths & English, minimum 5, experience in an analytical role, providing reports and actionable recommendations based, experience in interrogating databases from multiple sources to extract data for reporting and insight on analysis, Advanced knowledge of data visualisation tools (preferably Power BI) and experience of using visualisation tools to tell stories with data.
