Job Title: Data Quality Root Cause Analyst
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Glasgow (Edinburgh or Wilmslow can be considered
Working Style: Hybrid (50% home/office based)

Purpose of the Role:
The Data Quality Root Cause Analyst will be responsible for investigating data quality issues, identifying their root causes, and feeding back recommendations and findings to the Data Owners and Stewards across the organisation. Your work will directly contribute to our overall purpose of helping people protect and grow their financial assets. By ensuring the completeness, validity and reliability of our data, you'll help us deliver better outcomes for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing:

-Investigating data quality issues and identifying their root causes.
-Feeding back recommendations and findings to Data Owners and Stewards across the organisation.
-Supporting data quality initiatives and ensuring adherence to data management standards.
-Providing expertise in data quality management and root cause analysis.
-Working with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
if you work with data either as a data analyst, a tester, developer or a business analyst and fancy a change of direction you might be exactly what we are looking for:-
Essential
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
-Excellent communication and collaboration abilities,
-Able to write basic SQL select queries
-Ability to prioritize and plan in line with business demands
Desirable
-Hands-on experience in data quality management and root cause analysis
-Strong SQL skills
-Worked with SAS
-An understanding of data quality management principles
