Full Job Description

  • Control all access of the site
  • Booking vehicles in and out of the site
  • Conduct thorough patrols with the support of CCTV
  • Inputting data, weekly reports and incident report writing
  • Vehicle and colleague searches
  • Quick response where security intervention is needed

    Gatehouse, Perth and Kinross, B&M are looking for Gatehouse Operatives to be part of our growing Security Department in our Distribution Centre based in Bedford. Whilst experience of working in a security environment is preferred, full training will be provided and a SIA licence is not needed for this role.
    • This is for a 48 hour contract, working 07:00-19:00 on a set shift pattern, 4 days a week. You will need to be fully flexible in this role. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience in similar role
  • Strong written communication with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Data Protection laws
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Experience in Conflict Management
  • Experience in incident reporting and data input
  • Strong personality and character to deal with difficult situations
