Decontamination Technician Endoscopy Devices

We require an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our team who are responsible for reprocessing endoscope devices Previous experience is not required as full training is provided in house The department operates hours that suit the clinical needs and currently is between 0600hrs and 2200hrs, Monday Friday and between 0900hrs and 1700hrs on a Saturday and Sunday. The hours of work may vary and you will be expected to work the days and hours that suit the needs of the service. Enhanced payment will be given for weekend hours worked. All individuals are employed on a 24/7 contract Interested parties are invited to contact Marc Mackay on for further information and for a tour of the facility so you can gain a better understanding on what our work is all about

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
