Delivery / Removals Porter

Connect Appointments are recruiting a Delivery/Removals Porter to join our client's team in Cumbernauld on an ongoing temporary basis.

Please note - A DBS/Disclosure is essential for this role.

Schedule: 5 days over 7, 45 hours per week (some weekends will be required)

Pay rate: 11.50 per hour, overtime paid at 17.25 per hour

As a Delivery/Removals Porter you will assist in the delivery and transportation of a variety of goods, while providing excellent customer service.

Skills and requirements:

• Assist with home removals, lifting heavy and awkward items safely
• Load and unload furniture, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage
• Provide excellent customer service while working directly with customers

To be successful as a Delivery/Removals Porter, you will:

• Have a DBS/Disclosure (essential)
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have strong communication skills
• Have strong communication skills and be physically fit as this can be a very demanding but rewarding profession
