Full Job Description

As our Depot Hire Controller, you will be the first point of contact for all internal and external inquiries. In this role, you will enhance your skills, expand your product knowledge, and deepen your understanding of our Plant Operations. You will take ownership of the entire hire process, from responding to hire queries and identifying solutions to placing hires and ensuring resolution, all while maximising the utilisation of available assets. Each inquiry will be handled efficiently, prioritised by urgency, and delivered with exceptional service to all customers and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

> Provide exceptional customer service, handling calls, emails, and communications from customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
> Operational support to the onsite workshop team and collaborate with other depots and departments.
> Assist with hire coordination, generating paperwork, and maintaining accurate documentation.
> Manage CRM systems and use InspHire software to track and process hires.
> Drive sales growth by converting inquiries into hires and proactively identifying opportunities

Are you the right person for this role?
The successful candidate will have the following skills and/or experience

> Confident, ambitious, and customer-focused nature
> Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the hire desk or plant hire industry (preferred but not essential)
> Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
> Highly organized with excellent time management skills
> Ability to work well as part of a team
> Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
> Eagerness to learn new skills and expand product knowledge
> Motivated and seeking career progression opportunities
