Full Job Description

Based at Highland Fuels depot in Inverness This role encompasses a wide range of duties, including: 1. Manage & support an effective operational process, which ensures integrity of customer / Company's requirements. 2. Manage commercial aspects of a transport operation to meet profit and service/quality targets. 3. Uphold and maintain highest standards of Health & Safety 4. Ensuring customer requirements are administered in a timely, controlled and recorded manner. 5. Build and develop customer relationships. 6. Analysing data to monitor efficiency performance and plan improvements. Key Objectives of the role 1. Promote effective and efficient standards of work, in order to comply with transport legislation, company policy and Health & Safety legislation. 2. Contribute to a positive safety culture. 3. Support the personal development of all people employed on the Depot. 4. Create an effective working environment building a diverse, well- balanced team.

Highland Fuels have been supplying fuel to homes and businesses around Scotland since 1957. With 11 depots across the country, we provide home heating oil and fuel for the agricultural, commercial and marine sectors. In addition we operate 15 retail forecourts from Orkney to Ayrshire. Alongside our comprehensive range of fuels, including HVO, we provide AdBlue, lubricants, tanks and telemetry, fuel cards and EV chargers. We are also an employee owned trust which means that every employee has a stake in the business. We pride ourselves on providing excellent, friendly local service to our customers around the UK, and being a trusted fuelling partner across a wide range of industry sectors.

Hours will be 6am-3pm, overtime over 40 hours paid at time and a half of your hourly rate and you will be part of a regular on-call rota, for evenings and weekends which will be payableRemuneration and Benefits:
